南通惠立學校校長見面會來了！惠靈頓（中國）旗下南通惠立學校開校已經過去了數月，依托于惠靈頓（中國）一貫的高質量教學標準和強大實力，在家長中收獲了眾多好評。創校校長Simon Kenworthy先生和中方校長余歲穗女士也將于2023年1月14日與對南通校區感興趣的上海家庭分享交流更多學校訊息。

It's been a few months since Huili School Nantong opened. Huge of positive reviews have been received from parents as a result of Wellington College China's consistent high teaching standards and strengths. The founding Master, Mr Simon Kentworthy, and the Principal, Ms Suisui Yu, are coming to shanghai on 14th January 2023, sharing more information with families in Shanghai.

南通惠立學校坐落在美麗的蘇錫通園區，與蘇州和上海隔江相望。學校按照十五年一貫制規模建設（幼兒園、小學、初中、高中），總占地面積達80000平方米。

Huili School Nantong is in the beautiful Su Xitong Park, across the Yangze River from Suzhou and Shanghai. The school is built based on a K15 scale (nursery, primary school, junior high school and high school) and covers a total area of 80,000 square metres.

Backed by Wellington College China 's experienced bilingual system, Huili School Nantong always aims for solid subject knowledge and the development of the whole pupils and is a bilingual school that combines the Chinese curriculum with the characteristics of Huili education. While following the bilingual teaching model and advanced teaching methods polished by the Huili Institute of Learning, we are committed to creating a teaching environment tailored to the different stages of development for pupils aged 2 to 18. Huili School Nantong focuses on English language immersion, incorporating Huili's distinctive physical education, art and music curriculum, as well as extension curriculum such as drama and design & technology.

作為惠靈頓（中國）旗下的旗艦寄宿學校，南通惠立學校寄宿規模可達800人。學生從一年級起就有機會選擇寄宿。寄宿部的老師亦即日常孩子們的中外方學科老師，孩子和老師們朝夕相處，放學后仍能處在浸潤式的英語環境中，及時獲得學業上的指導，在加強學術成果的同時為海外學習做好準備并收獲終身友誼。我們希望在南通惠立學校的寄宿生活經歷能夠幫助孩子們培養良好的獨立性和自我管理能力，在為未來求學之路打好基礎的同時收獲相伴一生的珍貴友誼。

As a flagship of boarding school in Wellington College China, Huili School Nantong has a capacity of 800 boarding pupils. Pupils from Year 1 onwards are entitled to choose boarding. Teachers in the boarding house are Chinese and western subject teachers. Children who spend time with their teachers all day long can still be in an immersive bilingual environment after school. They can receive academic support, which strengthens their academic achievements. Meanwhile, children are prepared to study abroad and develop lifelong friendships. We hope that the boarding experience at Huili School Nantong will help children develop self-management skills and become independent, which lays the solid foundations for their future education and gain valuable and lifelong friendships.

我們擁有一支專業的不斷支持和幫助孩子們的寄宿團隊。寄宿學院輔導老師將幫助孩子們盡快適應寄宿生活。寄宿團隊將采用輪班制，確保每天24小時待命，隨時幫助孩子們。無論是孩子們想家了，或是剛開始還不能獨立安排自己的起居生活，抑或需要時間慢慢融入寄宿的環境，寄宿團隊都會陪伴他們并不斷提供支持。在過去的一個學期里，來自南通惠立學校首批創校寄宿生的反饋令我們甚感欣慰，很多寄宿生對于寄宿生活表現的非常適應，比家長能想象到的更快更好，他們在寄宿學院的生活豐富精彩，充實而快樂。

We have a dedicated boarding team who are constantly supporting and assisting children. Children are warmly welcomed by the boarding mentors who help them to settle down as quickly as possible. The boarding team are in shifts to ensure that they are available 24/5 to help the children. No matter if the children are homesick, or not yet able to manage their own lives, or need time to settle down in the boarding environment, the boarding team are always with them and provide ongoing support. We are delighted to receive quite a lot of positive feedback from the founding boarders at Huili School Nantong. Many of them have adapted to the boarding life more quickly than their parents expected. Boarding life is rich, exciting, fulfilling, and happy.

在歷經三年細致打磨的《惠靈頓（中國）設計指導手冊》的指導下，學校與集團旗下學校保持一致的建筑風格，結合集團多所校園的實際辦學經驗和各年齡學科的教學需求，配備了世界一流的設施設備: 含教學樓、劇院、綜合樓、宿舍樓、圖書館、室內運動館和游泳館等共11棟功能建筑及室外標準足球場和橄欖球場。

The school was designed in accordance with the Wellington College Design Manual, which has been refined over a period of three years. It is consistent with the architectural style of the sister schools and is equipped with world-class facilities and equipment, including 11 functional buildings such as teaching buildings, theatre, complex, boarding houses, library, indoor sports hall, swimming pool, outdoor Standard football pitch and rugby pitch etc.
